The scenes carry the recipe meta (recipe: { id, knobs, custom: false }) and are validated like motion.replace. The snap recipe writes the page's scroll setting instead, so its batch also needs the pages base revision. An unknown recipe is 404 recipe_not_found; refused knobs are 422 recipe_knobs_invalid.
