CLI
The splash command line: 10 commands over the MCP server, for scripts and terminals.
Set up #
The CLI is a thin client of the MCP server. Run it from a checkout of the repository:
export SPLASH_URL=<admin origin>
export SPLASH_MCP_TOKEN=<site token>
yarn splash contextSPLASH_MCP_TOKEN is a site token from Agenti e accessi MCP (Agents & MCP access) in the admin sidebar, under Persone e accessi (see MCP server). Keep it in the environment: never put it in a batch file, a script or a shell argument.
Everyday commands #
yarn splash discover tree.
yarn splash outline <pageId>
yarn splash apply batch.json --dry-run
yarn splash apply batch.json
yarn splash import-markdown <pageId> <nodeId> page.it.md --locale it
yarn splash undo <requestId>apply reads a libretto.batch file (or - for stdin). An identical retry reuses its requestId; a changed batch needs a new one. Failures exit nonzero and print structured JSON on stderr.
